The Sai Sin Panels

Fabric. Geometry. Connection. Light.

This series transforms the logic of temple blessing ropes — Sai Sin — into a system of golden grids and woven surfaces. Each panel begins with Thai textile fabric, stretched onto wood and crossed by lines that echo the threads linking monks, Buddha images, and devotees during ceremony.

The geometry is not decoration; it’s a map of energy and belonging. The panels are arranged in sequences of reflection and tension — some angled toward the light, others absorbing it — creating a subtle rhythm of continuity and separation.

For me, these works are about the unseen connections that hold everything together. The Sai Sin Panels merge spiritual symbolism with material precision, turning thread and fabric into a meditation on unity, silence, and sacred space.
