CLEANERS
Color. Labor. Dignity. Transformation.
CLEANERS is a social art project born from the streets of Bangkok — where the fluorescent vests of municipal workers become symbols of unseen devotion. I began by photographing and documenting street cleaners, then translating their presence into art, framing their daily gestures as acts of quiet beauty and resilience.
The project bridges art, community, and everyday life. Through exhibitions, portraits, and collaborative storytelling, it celebrates those who keep the city alive yet often remain invisible. Each frame captures more than a person — it captures rhythm, humility, and the pulse of Bangkok itself.
For me, CLEANERS is about shifting perception: transforming routine into ritual, and labor into light. It’s an ongoing dialogue between respect and representation — between the city and those who care for it
